How we review
Every review on Real Buyer Experiences follows the same process. We built it to answer one question honestly: is this actually worth your money?
1. We buy it ourselves
We purchase products at regular retail price, just like you. No manufacturer samples in exchange for a good score, and no pay-to-play placements. When a product was provided for testing, we say so clearly in the review — and it never buys a better verdict.
2. We live with it
We use each product in real conditions over real time — days or weeks, not a ten-minute unboxing. We care about how something holds up after the novelty wears off: the battery that fades, the app that disconnects, the part that starts to rattle. That’s the stuff a spec sheet never tells you.
3. We test what matters and research the field
We evaluate the things buyers actually care about — performance, durability, value, and the small quirks that make or break daily use. Then we compare against the leading alternatives and dig into the experiences of other verified owners, so a single opinion never stands alone.
4. We give a clear verdict
You get a straight recommendation: who it’s for, who should skip it, and whether it’s worth the price. If it isn’t, we say so — and point you to something better. Our commission is the same whether we love a product or pan it, so we have no reason to oversell.
What we will never do
- Accept payment for a positive review or a place in a guide.
- Let commission rates decide our rankings.
- Copy prices or specs and present them as current — always confirm price and availability on the retailer’s own site before buying.
- Pretend we tested something we didn’t. If a verdict is based on research rather than hands-on use, we tell you.
