Rumpl Travel Puffy Blanket vs VOITED CloudTouch Indoor/Outdoor Camping Blanket
Which should you buy? Our verdict on both, pulled from our full The Best Packable Blankets: 4 Compared (and One to Skip) comparison.
Rumpl publishes flat size, packed size and weight, uses a fill chosen specifically to recover loft after compression, and clips to a bag rather than living inside it. VOITED turns into a sleeping bag, a cape and a pillow, and is the one to buy if the blanket mostly stays in a van.
Rumpl Travel Puffy Blanket
Buy it0.79 pounds, packs to the size of a water bottle, and every figure published.
- Fully specified: 0.79 pounds, 38 by 52 inches flat and 4 by 10 inches packed, which Rumpl describes as the size of a water bottle.
- NanoLoft synthetic insulation chosen specifically for maximum compression and rebound, so it recovers its loft rather than staying flat after being stuffed.
- A 100 percent post-consumer recycled shell and liner made from plastic bottles, with a PFAS-free durable water repellent finish for stain and water resistance, and a roll-top stuff sack that clips to a backpack rather than going inside it.
- At 38 by 52 inches this is a single-person blanket, and Rumpl sells larger sizes separately.
- Synthetic fill is bulkier than down for equivalent warmth, which is the price of it working when damp.
- No temperature rating is published, and Rumpl pitches it for planes, trains and chilly cars rather than cold nights outdoors.
